During my internship I gained hands-on experience in Data Analytics using AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Over the course of the program, I worked with tools like Julia.ai to apply machine learning techniques for analyzing data. The internship provided valuable insights into utilizing AI for data processing and decision-making, enhancing my understanding of modern data analytics techniques and their practical applications.

Over the course of one month, I delved deep into core concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, and gained hands-on experience in data preprocessing and model evaluation. This immersive experience not only bolstered my technical skills but also ignited a passion for exploring advanced topics in machine learning.

Project Overview:

This project involves building a deep learning model that predicts the genre of a book by combining its cover image and description text. The system uses two separate models to process image and text features, then merges them using a fusion technique to make the final prediction. The model was trained on a dataset of books and achieved around 80% training accuracy. The goal was to improve prediction accuracy by learning from both visual and textual information instead of using just one.
